Bijan’s Protective Equipment, Inc (BPE-USA) was founded in 1991 and is located in Santa Rosa, California (50 miles North of San Francisco) – in the heart of the wine country. With more than two decades of experience in designing & manufacturing high performance protective gear across various industries and product categories, they are one of the leading producers of knee & elbow pads in the Military & Defense industry in the United States. In close collaboration with the U.S. Army and Natick we designed the original military specification for knee & elbow pads back in the late nineties and we have supplied our Troops and many Law Enforcement units with over 5 million pairs since.
Our industrial & work safety products are used by major American airlines and sold through many hardware and independent lumber stores. Besides manufacturing our own product lines we also offer cutting & sewing services. Through this aspect of the business they are making products (bags, purses, doormats, etc.) from material that would go to the landfill (e.g., kite/sails materials, vinyl and mesh banners, truck tarps, used fire hoses). An example company for which they make products is Mafia bags.
