Vivotein takes pre-consumer food waste from grocery stores, breweries, and food processors, to feed black soldier fly larvae. Then they sell their larvae products to wholesalers and retail stores.

Live Black Soldier Fly Larvae
- Snack or feed additive for poultry, fish or wild birds
- Private label this product and market as a snack or feed additive
- Blend with other ingredients to create a feed formula
Larvae Meal
- Is a ground up version of whole dried black soldier fly larvae. This product is typically used as a treat for aquarium fish.
Frass (larvae castings)
- Castings, or frass. Can be used as a potent soil amendment (fertilizer supplement). NPK: 5%
Custom Blend Formulas
- This product is a mixture of whole dried BSFL and BSFL castings (frass). Studies have shown that this mixture has had growth-promoting effects on fish, improving their health and survivability. Preliminary data suggests that a mix of dried BSFL with BSFL castings can improve the survivability of catfish and tilapia from bacterial diseases.
