Addendum 1, Addendum 1 to RFP(S) DRR19086 Composting VOC Emission Guide, (65 KB, Word Document) was released April 29, 2020

The Contractor shall collect and compile existing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emissions data from all publicly available sources to determine whether specific operational parameters result in specific VOC emission rates, conduct field research to fill in data gaps, prepare a guidance document. The Contractor will also conduct workshops in California to (1) inform air district staff on the permit conditions which operators can readily control that have proven effective at minimizing VOC emissions and (2) educate compost operators about strategies to utilize with their existing compost systems to maximize VOC emissions reductions.
