List of Approved Food Service Packaging

SB 1335 requires CalRecycle to maintain a List of Approved Food Service Packaging (List). The following food service packaging items are approved and eligible for use by state food service facilities. Food service packaging items will be added to this page as they are approved.

The List includes the names and Chemical Abstract Service Registry Numbers (CAS No.) of chemicals included on the Proposition 65 (Prop 65) list that are used in the manufacturing of food service packaging items. Pursuant to the regulations, food service packaging manufacturers must disclose Prop 65 chemicals in the application submitted to CalRecycle.

The following food service packaging items have been removed from the List and are not eligible for use by state food service facilities. Records of food service packaging items that have been removed from the List will be maintained in this section.
