CalRecycle invites stakeholders to tune in for a presentation of the Analysis of the Progress Toward the SB 1383 Organic Waste Reduction Goals (Analysis). The purpose of the report is to comply with Public Resources Code Section 42653, which requires CalRecycle, in consultation with the California Air Resources Board, to analyze the progress that the waste sector, state government, and local governments have made in reducing organic waste disposal.

CalRecycle will be conducting a public webinar on Tuesday August 25th from 10AM to 12PM to present the findings from the Analysis and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions and provide feedback.

During the workshop, CalRecycle will also make a presentation regarding AB 1826’s 2 cubic yard threshold implementation.
