Cal/EPA: Environmental Justice Listserv
In a July 30, 2012, memorandum, Cal/EPA identified its intention to hold a meeting of the Cumulative Impacts and Precautionary Approaches (CIPA) Work Group on October 9, 2012. This meeting will not take place, but will be scheduled at a later date, likely in December 2012 (to be determined). That meeting will be announced on the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) website for the project (http://www.oehha.ca.gov/ej/index.html).
As a reminder, Cal/EPA has extended public comment on a Draft California Communities Environmental Health Screening Tool (CalEnviroScreen) to October 16, 2012. The subject of the next public CIPA Work Group meeting will likely be revisions to the screening tool that take into account comments received during this comment period. Comments are being received at a series of workshops conducted across the state and are being submitted in writing.
