This message is to inform program participants and interested stakeholders of two CalRecycle notices dated Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
In the first Notice, CalRecycle is providing information reported on Imported Material Reports (IMRs) submitted by persons importing empty beverage container material into California during the period of February 18, 2014 through September 30, 2014. The information includes the importer’s name, vehicle license plate number, and type of vehicle used to import empty beverage container materials. Going forward, the importer list will be updated monthly and will be posted to the CalRecycle webpage and DORIIS portal landing page.
The purpose of the second Notice is to inform certified processors of their responsibilities for processing, reporting, and recordkeeping of imported empty beverage containers in loads of single-stream recyclable materials.
