Below is a summary of the changes:

 

SB 1383 Education and Outreach Resources Webpage:

Model Tools tab, Model Franchise Agreement and Exhibits subtab, Jurisdiction Examples subtab

Added a link to City of Glendale’s franchise agreement which includes language for fees used for funding programs.

Model Tools tab, Model Food Recovery Agreement subtab, Jurisdiction Examples subtab

Added a link to San Francisco’s Model Food Donor Agreement.

Residential Implementation Examples tab

Added links to City of San Diego’s Organics Collection Education webpage in addition to two YouTube videos from San Diego titled: How to Love Your Green Bin and What Goes Where: San Diego’s Three-Container System for Waste Disposal.

Commercial and Multifamily Implementation Examples tab

Added a subtab called Inspection Form with a link to City of Watsonville’s Commercial Edible Food Generator Inspection Form.

Edible Food Recovery Inspection Forms tab

Added a link to City of Watsonville’s Commercial Edible Food Generator Inspection Form.

Food Recovery in California webpage:

Added a link to the California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) Resources for Edible Food Recovery Compliance and Outreach webpage. CRRA’s Best Practices Subcommittee of the Edible Food Recovery Technical Council created customizable templates for food recovery organizations reaching out to new donors, and jurisdictions conducting SB 1383 education and outreach to their Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial edible food generators.
The templates are designed to include local information with space to add:
• Local health department contact information
• Logos
• Other location-specific information
