Appendix to the Initial Statement of Reasons Available for public comment

The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) has released an Appendix to the Initial Statement of Reasons for public comment. The appendix assesses the costs associated with revisions made to the regulation, revises the methodology used to estimate the costs of regulatory provisions in response to stakeholder comments, and aligns the economic assessments with disposal and recovery projections prepared for the Draft Environmental Impact Report.

Formal Comment Period: November 26, 2019 – December 13, 2019
Comments on the updated rulemaking documents must be submitted by 1:00 PM on December 13, 2019.

Written comments (hard copy or email) or questions concerning this document should be directed to the name and address listed below. Comments should be germane to the updated economic findings in the Appendix. No changes to the regulatory text were made or are subject to comment during this comment period.
