Environmental justice means the fair treatment of people of all races, cultures, and incomes regarding the development, adoption, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies. CalRecycle’s Environmental Justice Program’s mission is to ensure environmental justice concepts, values, and objectives are thoroughly implemented within CalRecycle programmatic activities. The intent of this listserv is to provide interested members of the public, stakeholders, and organizations with information regarding the activities and events of the Environmental Justice Program.
