Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: Increase the tons per day received from 1000 to 1800 tons of waste per day; Increase the permitted vehicles per day from 560 to 1245; Expand the construction and demolition operations area and capacity and expand the inert debris processing area; Expand the outdoor green waste processing operations to allow the processing of co-collected residential green waste with food waste, to produce compost feedstock and or anaerobic digestion feedstock; Include processing of commercial food waste inside the MRF building, or another building on site to produce compost feedstock and/or anerobic digestion feedstock; Add a 1 megawat wood waste biomass conversion plant. Establish the permitted hours of the facility for processing of materials in the MRF building to 24 hours 7 days per week: Increase the permitted hours for outdoor processing of material to 6:00 a.m. -10:00 p.m., 7 days /week from Increase the permitted hours for public receipt of materials to 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday: from 6:00a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
