Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: Increase the tons per day received from 50 to 6,000 tons per day; Increase the permitted disposal area from 7.8 acres to 284 acres; Increase the permitted vehicles per day from 150 to 498 vehicles; Add a construction and demolition and inert debris processing facility; add a chipping and grinding operation; Increase the permitted hours of operation up to 24 hours per day 7 days per week with public/local commercial disposal hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday and chipping and grinding operation hours and CDI processing facility hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday; Increase the maximum elevation from 15.5 feet mean sea level (MSL) to 284 feet MSL; Increase maximum depth from 15 feet below ground surface (BGS) to 30 feet BGS; Increase remaining capacity from 346,7000 cubic yards (CY) to 65.1 million CY; and Change estimated closure date from 2017 to 2038.
