Revised Solid Waste Facilities Permit

Tehachapi Sanitary Landfill - Kern County

Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes:
- Increase the permitted facility boundary from 196.16 acres to 239.76 acres for buffer land.
- Increase the permitted elevation from 4,065 amsl to 4,085 amsl (includes final cover).
- Increase the permitted capacity from 3.4 MCY to 4 MCY
- Extend the estimated closure date from 2014 to 2020.
