Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: Expand the disposal footprint from 44 acres to 92 acres, increase the gross airspace by approximately 10.9 million cubic yards for future disposal, change the estimated closure date from August 2018 to 2072, construct composite liner and leachate collection and removal system, construct a landfill gas system, and update the closure plans.
