Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes:

 

1.       Up-tier the current Registration Permit to a Full Solid Waste Facility Permit.

 

2.        An increase in recycling processing capacity from 100 Tons Per Day to 270 Tons Per Day (240 TPD MRF + 30TPD Mixed Organics  Waste). 

 

3.       Increase permitted operational hours to be able to provide two 8-hours shifts for material processing and site maintenance. The hours will change to Monday to Saturday 5AM- 10PM; From the current hours as stated: “The standard work shift will be from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. The MRF may operate until 6;00 pm and on Saturday. Maintenance will occur on Saturday between the hours of 5:00 am and 1:00 pm”

 

4.       Increase vehicles from 29 per day to 100 per day
