Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: Change in operator name from Interior Removal Specialist, Inc. to Construction and Demolition Recycling, Inc.; Construction of a 52,800 square foot transfer/processing building that will be fully enclosed with a misting system and sorting operation; Addition of receiving municipal solid waste (2,000 tons per day (tpd)) which will be placed within the new building where it will be sorted, temporarily stored, and transferred; Addition of receiving green waste which will be placed outside on a concrete pad and covered with a roof supported by 4 poles; Addition of a grinder for the green waste; Receipt of construction, demolition and inert (CDI) debris and green waste will be limited to 1,000 tpd (includes a maximum of 500 tpd of green waste); Total permitted daily tonnage will remain at 3,000 tpd; and Incorporate a new Transfer/Processing Report to reflect changes in operation and new monitoring requirements.
