This is a notice of an informal workshop to be held prior to the initiation of formal rulemaking under the Electronic Waste Recycling Act. The workshop will focus on Article 7 within Chapter 8.2 of Division 7 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations, more commonly known as the covered electronic waste (CEW) recycling program’s designated approved collector provision. The impending rulemaking will serve as a vehicle to finalize an existing emergency regulation package that was adopted on 3/16/17 (see https://www2.calrecycle.ca.gov/Docs/103886).
