Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center - Ventura County

On December 5, 2017, the Ventura County Environmental Health Division (LEA) granted an emergency waiver of daily tonnage limits at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center until December 16, 2017, due to the emergency conditions created by the Thomas Fire and subsequent temporary closure of the Toland Road Landfill and ensuing clean-up efforts. On December 13, 2017, the LEA granted a revision to the emergency waiver until March 8, 2018.  On March 7, 2018 the LEA granted an extension to the emergency waiver until June 6, 2018.
