On January 4, 2018, the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, Environmental Health Services, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver of the permitted daily tonnage, traffic and hours of operation until May 4, 2018, due to the emergency resulting from the Thomas Fire.
