The purpose of this workshop will be to consider and discuss possible changes to the covered electronic waste (CEW) recovery and recycling payment rates, including a differential recycling payment rate for non-CRT CEW.  Every two years, as required by Public Resources Code sections 42477 and 42478, CalRecycle must consider and determine the recovery and recycling payment rates necessary to fund, on average, the CEW collection and recycling industry.  This workshop will continue discussions previously held on April 17, 2018.  Program staff will further present its evaluation of net cost information and make recommendations about payment rates.
