Notice of Final Decision Approving Director Appointment of Carpet Stewardship Program Advisory Committee Member – see “Documents” section for more information 

As required by the Product Stewardship for Carpets Law (Public Resources Code Sections 42970-42983), the Director of CalRecycle appointed members to an Advisory Committee in December 2017 to provide recommendations to a carpet manufacturer or carpet stewardship organization and to the department on carpet stewardship plans, plan amendments, and annual reports.  Since the initial appointment, one local government representative has left the Advisory Committee.  CalRecycle is seeking applications until March 28, 2018 from local government representatives in order to fill the vacancy.  Please see the attached solicitation letter for instructions regarding how to apply and for more information.
