On July 30, 2018, the Riverside County Solid Waste Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) granted an emergency waiver of the permitted daily tonnage limit and days and hours of operation at the Idyllwild Transfer Station until October 27, 2018, due to the emergency conditions resulting from the Cranston Fire.
