Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: Update the estimated closure date from 2045 to 2051; Add cathode ray tube (CRT) waste, CRT televisions and contaminated soils to the list of acceptable waste types; Remove auto shredder fluff from accepted waste types; Add a fourth permanent scale; Add a wheel wash station; Relocate facility maintenance building and redesign future storm water ponds; and Incorporate the updated Joint Technical Document. There will be no increase in permitted daily tonnage, permitted capacity, hours of operation or vehicle count.
