On October 1, 2018, the Lake County Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) granted another emergency waiver of the permitted daily tonnage limit, hours of operation and traffic limitations at the Eastlake Landfill until January 29, 2019, due to the emergency conditions resulting from the Pawnee and Mendocino Wild Fires. Another extension was requested by the Operator on January 15, 2019 and approved by the LEA on January 28, 2019. The latest operator request January 13, 2020 and LEA approval was given on January 17, 2020.
