On October 29, 2018, the Shasta County Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) granted an emergency waiver of the permitted daily tonnage limit, hours of operation and traffic limitations at the Anderson Landfill until February 26, 2019, due to the emergency conditions resulting from the Carr Fire.
