CalRecycle must promulgate regulations to effectively implement its responsibilities under AB 1343, California's new law covering product stewardship for architectural paint. The topics of discussion at this informal workshop include 1) stewardship plan approval criteria, 2) a process for CalRecycle to accept payment for its services related to oversight and enforcement activities, 3) a progressive enforcement approach, and 4) criteria for acceptance of annual reports. The workshop will provide information on these topics and seek stakeholder comments.
