On January 30, 2019, the Shasta County Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) granted an approval of emergency waiver of standards for the permitted daily tonnage limit, hours of operation and traffic limitations at the Anderson Landfill until June 1, 2019, due to the emergency conditions resulting from the Camp Fire. The operator requested waiving the cover requirements for fire related debris but that request was denied. On Feb. 11, 2019, the operator requested an extension. On Feb. 22, 2019, the LEA approved. On March 19, 2019, the operator requested another extension for hours and tonnage. On March 27, 2019, the LEA denied the request. On 6/3/19, Operator requested 180 day extension. On 6/4/19, the LEA approved the extension. On June 17, 2019, the operator requested to revise the emergency waiver daily tonnage limit. On June 21, 2019 the LEA denied the operators request.
