Marin Sanitary Service Transfer Station Marin Sanitary Resource Recovery Center - Marin County

Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes:

  • An increase in permitted area from 8.5 acres to 9.5 acres to include the existing Marin Recycling Center;
  • An increase in permitted hours of operation from “Waste Receipts: 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Site Operations: 5 a.m. to 12 a.m.” to 24 hours per day, Seven days per week (See TPR);
  • An increase in permitted traffic volume from 800 vehicles per day to 1,170 vehicles per day; and
  • Updates to the Report of Facility Information.
