Revised Solid Waste Facilities Permit

L and D Landfill - Sacramento County

Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: 

  • An increase in the maximum permitted elevation from 97 feet mean sea level (MSL) to 140 feet MSL;
  • An increase the design capacity from 18,300,000 cubic yards to 20,500,000 cubic yards; 
  • Updating the estimated closure date from 2023 to 2031, and
  • Updates to the Report of Facility Information.
