The Department is currently serving as the solid waste enforcement agency for San Benito County. The application would allow RJR Recycling to continue to accept less than 100 tons per day of construction and demolition debris, green material, agricultural by-product material, agricultural material, and municipal solid waste, increase the outgoing number of vehicles per day from 4 to 15, increase the incoming number of vehicles per day from 27 to 35, and increase the receiving hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., to Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
