Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: Update the estimated closure year from 2043 to 2039; Increase the daily tonnage from 2,000 tons per day (tpd) to 3,000 tpd for 15 days each calendar year when waste is diverted from the Mid-Valley Sanitary Landfill to the San Timoteo Sanitary Landfill due to closure of the Mid-Valley Sanitary Landfill on high wind event days; Increase the design capacity from 20.4 million cubic yards to 22,685,785 cubic yards; Update the non-water corrective action plan and preliminary closure/postclosure maintenance plans and grading plans; Incorporate the updated Report of Facility Information and update the Solid Waste Facilities Permit Prohibitions, Self-Monitoring sections and LEA Conditions.
