Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed design parameters: 1) The proposed facility will be a large volume transfer/processing facility that will receive, process, and transfer food material, organic waste, and mixed materials; 2) Hours of operation will be 24-hours per day Monday through Sunday with administrative office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; 3) Maximum permitted tonnage will be 300 tons per day; 4) Permitted traffic volume will be 51 vehicles per day; 5) Total permitted area will be 1.49 acres with the transfer/processing activity on 1.21 acres; and 6) Total design capacity will be 480 tons.
