Summary

The Department of Resources Recycling & Recovery (CalRecycle) will present a Battery Labeling Informal Rulemaking Workshop in Sacramento on Friday, November 8, 2019. CalRecycle will consult with the public, manufacturers, the regulated community, and other interested persons on developing regulatory amendments to require labels on rechargeable household lithium-ion batteries. CalRecycle welcomes comments on this matter and other recommendations related to the Dry Cell Battery Management Act (PRC 15000-15029)
