Summary

CalRecycle will conduct a formal rulemaking public hearing to receive comments on the proposed regulatory action to implement the Pharmaceutical and Sharps Waste Stewardship Act (SB 212). A 45-day public comment period to receive written comments runs from January 3, 2020 through February 17, 2020. This hearing will be the final opportunity to present comments to CalRecycle on the initial proposed regulatory action.

This hearing will be webcast.  Please see https://www.calrecycle.ca.gov/Broadcast/ to test your connection and access audio and video that will be live approximately 15 minutes prior to the hearing. Comments or questions may be directed to PharmaSharps@CalRecycle.ca.gov.
