Preliminary review of the permit package indicates that the new solid waste facilities permit will allow for: 

• The operation of a large volume transfer/processing facility that receives green & wood material, food material, C&D material, MSW, and recyclables; 
• Permitted maximum tonnage of 2,500 tons per day;
• Permitted traffic volume of 560 vehicles per day;
• Hours of operation of 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
