Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following: The Allan Company operates an existing recycling processing facility which collects comingled curbside material and other source-separated recyclables, and is requesting a New Solid Waste Facility Permit to allow processing of material with greater than 10% residue waste, such as commercial and multi-family material. The facility operates on a 3.58 acre site, and plans to accept 1,000 tons per day.
