On August 18, 2020, the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver for the following: the origin of waste; rate of inflow for storage, transfer, processing, or disposal of waste; type and moisture content of solid waste; hours of facility operation; and storage time before transfer, processing, or disposal of nonhazardous waste until October 17, 2020, due to the emergency resulting from COVID-19. On October 16, 2020, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until December 15, 2020. On January 7, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until April 7, 2021. On April 15, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until August 5, 2021. On August 19, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until December 3, 2021. On December 2, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until April 2, 2022. On April 7, 2022, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until July 31, 2022.
