On September 3, 2020, the County of Napa Local Enforcement Agency granted an emergency wavier for the permitted daily tonnage, hours of operation, vehicle count, and to allow an increase in the acceptance and storage of green waste and wood debris through January 1, 2021, due to wildfires. On January 6, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency wavier for an additional 120 days through April 1, 2021. On March 23, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency wavier for an additional 120 days through July 30, 2021. On July 28, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver for an additional 90 days through October 29, 2021. On October 29, 2021, the LEA granted an extension of emergency wavier for an additional 90 days through January 28, 2022. On January 24, 2022, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency wavier for an additional 90 days through April 16, 2022. On April 21, 2022 the LEA granted an extension of the emergency wavier for an additional 60 days through June 16, 2022.
