Summary

CalRecycle will conduct an informal rulemaking workshop prior to the initiation of formal rulemaking intended to finalize existing emergency regulations. The workshop will present and discuss proposed regulations that provide a structure for pursuing multiple covered electronic waste (CEW) recycling payments rates. In May 2018, CalRecycle adopted emergency regulations that split the single CEW recycling payment rate into separate payment rates for cathode ray tube (CRT) CEW and non-CRT CEW. The emergency regulations were readopted in May 2020 and expire in May 2022.

  • The webinar will allow for verbal and written questions during the workshop.
