Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: The application package is for a full solid waste facility permit to replace a composting operation under an Enforcement Agency Notification, SWIS No. 30-AB-0401, and a chip and grind facility with a Registration Permit, SWIS No. 30-AB-0403. The application for the new permit requests continued operations of the current activities as one facility and an increase in maximum daily tonnage to 3,000 tons per day. Waste types to be accepted include construction and demolition waste, greenwaste and wood waste, municipal solid waste, and food material. Proposed additions to the activities at the facility include a transfer station, material recovery facility, and food material composting.
