PaintCare, as the designated stewardship organization for architectural paint manufacturers, is required by Public Resources Code section 48705 (a) to submit an annual report to CalRecycle on or before November 1 of each year. CalRecycle has 90 days from the date of receipt to review the annual report and adopt a finding of compliance, noncompliance, or conditional approval. This item presents staff’s analysis of PaintCare’s Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Report, which covers July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.
