Lost Hills Environmental Waste Facility – Kern County

Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed changes: 
 
Change in facility name from H.M. Holloway to Lost Hills Environmental Waste Facility;
Increase in operating hours from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week;
Increase permitted daily tonnage from 2000 Tons Per Day to 3,753 Tons Per Day;
Increase permitted vehicles from 91 Vehicles Per Day to 313 Vehicles Per Day;
Additional solid waste types allowed for disposal;
Additional material types for alternative daily cover;
Addition of composting activity.
