The purpose of this workshop will be to discuss and consider possible changes to the covered electronic waste (CEW) recovery and recycling payment rates. Every two years, as required by Public Resources Code Sections 42477 and 42478, CalRecycle must consider and determine the recovery and recycling payment rates necessary to fund, on average, the CEW collection and recycling industry. Program staff will present its evaluation of net cost information and make recommendations about payment rates.
