This item presents staff’s analysis of MED-Project USA’s (MED-Project) 2021 Annual Report for home-generated sharps waste titled, “MED-Project 2021 Annual Report, State of California, Sharps,” submitted to CalRecycle on March 31, 2022. 
 
Public Resources Code section 42033.2 requires a program operator to submit, on or before March 31 of each year, a complete annual report. CalRecycle has 90 days from the date of receipt of a complete annual report to review the annual report and adopt a finding of approval, conditional approval, or disapproval. 
 
Supporting documents will be posted in the “Documents” section in advance of the Public Meeting.
