Preliminary review of the permit package indicates the following proposed design parameters: an increase the maximum landfill elevation from 1,025 feet to 1,170 feet above mean sea level, the estimated landfill closure year will change from 2022 to 2051 and the design capacity will change from 32.97 million cubic yards (mcy) to approximately 40.21 mcy.   An updated proposed solid waste facilities permit was received on February 6, 2023.
