On February 9, 2023, the Ventura County Resource Management Agency, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver of the permitted traffic volume until May 11, 2023, due to the emergency resulting from the recent storms.  On March 14, 2023, the LEA cancelled the emergency waiver per the request of the operator.
