On March 17, 2023, the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver for the following: the origin of waste; rate of inflow for storage, transfer, processing, or disposal of waste; type and moisture content of solid waste; hours of facility operation; and storage time before transfer, processing, or disposal of nonhazardous waste until July 15, 2023, due to the emergency resulting from the March 2023 floods.  On July 20, 2023, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until November 17, 2023.
