On March 27, 2023, the Orange County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver to increase the permitted tonnage from 4,000 tons per day to 6,000 tons per day until June 26, 2023, due to the emergency resulting from the severe winter storms.
