On April 5, 2023, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), granted an emergency waiver of the permitted daily tonnage and hours of operation until August 5, 2023, due to the emergency resulting from the storms.  On August 29, 2023, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until December 3, 2023.  On December 13, 2023, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until April 2, 2024.  On April 4, 2024, the LEA granted an extension of the emergency waiver until July 30, 2024 due to the emergency resulting from the 2024 winter storms.
