Public Resources Code section 42033.2 requires a program operator to submit, on or before March 31 of each year, a complete annual report and a complete annual program budget for its stewardship program.
CalRecycle determined UltiMed's 2022 annual report and its 2024 annual program budget for home-generated sharps waste (initially submitted June 21, 2023) incomplete on July 20, 2023. UltiMed was required to revise and resubmit its 2022 annual report and 2024 annual program budget for home-generated sharps waste to CalRecycle within 30 days from the date of receipt of CalRecycle's completeness determination (i.e., by August 19, 2023).
CalRecycle has 30 days from the date of receipt to determine if a submitted annual report and annual program budget are complete and notify the submitting program operator. CalRecycle has 90 days from the date of receipt of a complete annual report and a complete annual program budget to review the documents and adopt findings of approval, conditional approval, or disapproval.

*CalRecycle determined UltiMed’s 2024 annual program budget incomplete on September 15, 2023. UltiMed is required to revise and resubmit its 2024 annual program budget to CalRecycle within 30 days from the date of receipt of CalRecycle’s completeness determination (i.e., by October 15, 2023). This item will be presented at a future Public Meeting.
